Alte Herberge in Springe

So far we have ordered twice to be picked up, once beef roulades and once goose for two or four people. Each prepared very lovingly and has an excellent taste. Unfortunately, due to the measures taken during CoVid19, we have not yet been a guest in "normal operation", but that will definitely be made up for. We have given it five stars and we'd love to come back for a special treat!

Location, cleanliness and furnishings are great and there is no reason to complain. Unfortunately, the food was anything but good. The beef roulade was very dry and the portion of fried potatoes was quite tiny. And I've never seen a schnitzel that has been beaten so thinly. The breading was thicker than the meat itself ... For 15 € each unfortunately insufficient. The service was very nice!

We were there for dinner today for two and were really thrilled. On the one hand we were really impressed by the hospitality and friendliness, on the other hand it is a great location ... cozy, quaint and yet classy. The food was awesome and also a generous portion. For us there was a greeting from the kitchen and it made the evening perfect. Many thanks to the great cook and the excellent waiter for this all-round fabulous evening

If you want something better than "just" the Italian around the corner, this is the place for you! I have eaten game and am very satisfied. You could talk a little about the portion size but still I have to say that the price / performance ratio fits very well.

The restaurant actually had a break. We were in the bison enclosure and therefore a little late. I have never seen guests let in during the break. Thank you for that 👍🏼 Food was just delicious 👌🏼 ... Thanks again for everything, we would love to come back The Lehne family

Good food, bad service ... Food was as always good, the service unfortunately bad. No answers to questions. When asked for a steak knife, the answer: "With the normal knife you can also cut steaks" ... completely unprofessional. The question: "What is in the red wine sauce?" Came after 5 minutes of waiting the answer: "There is red wine in it!" Well, thank you, we would not have thought. Unfortunately, the negative service outweighs, so we will avoid this location in the future.

Beautiful restaurant in Springe, small cozy restaurant and several opportunities for big and small companies. Centrally located, absolutely friendly service, super delicious food. I have not experienced this generous offer in addition to additional side dishes without extra charge in any other restaurant. In no time 60 people got their food and special requests were no problem.

It is excellent there. Service and dishes fit. Very polite and professional. We can only recommend it. My wife and her friends are regulars.

You need to visit in order to feel the warm atmosphere offered by all employees and especially the owners !!!

Elegant place with a good selection of traditional German food. Good meat and wild boar dishes, and a keen eye on Italian spirit to close your dinner. Unfortunately the friendly and nice staff cannot speak any English, but they are more than able to communicate and let you choose the best possible menu of the day.
